They say dogs are a man’s best friend. And in many ways, they are. They are loyal, they always miss you, and don’t talk back. Usually. This dog, however, doesn’t look thrilled to be sitting next to Buster. Maybe we should call Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer, to get him to cheer up. Or maybe just a funny caption?

My dogs, Cosmo and Luna, are big fans of Buster. They even have their own hats!

“The marriage ended over the July 4th weekend in 1935 during a trip to Santa Barbara when Mae discovered Buster in bed with Leah Sewell, a friend of Buster’s sister, Louise, who was also a guest at their hotel. When Buster’s affair with Sewell continued beyond the weekend at Santa Barbara, Mae packed up half of everything at their Cheviot Hills house. She literally took half of everything: two sets of silver flatware were divided in half for example. She did not take one complete set. Soon after, she filed for divorce. The most disturbing aspect of the divorce was that when Mae left, she took Elmer I, his Saint Bernard. He hired a private detective to find Elmer, but the search proved futile. The divorce from Mae became final on October 14, 1936, and she later resurfaced when she unsuccessfully tried to sue Paramount Pictures for five million dollars for libel over The Buster Keaton Story.”
