Guess who’s a Buster fan! And I’ve always liked Steve. He just got extra brownie points.
If you have been wondering about it, the answer is yes: Boardwalk Empire does have its Reality TV side. Yes, there was a political boss named Enoch in Atlantic City, New Jersey, born in 1883, deceased in 1968. Yes, people had a suspicion he was involved in heavy racketeering, bootlegging, the lot. But now we are talking about Enoch Thompson, Nucky to friends and family, who, in this third season of the Golden Globe winning series, is going down a much more dangerous path. We asked Golden Globe winner Steve Buscemi not about the murders and betrayals inspired by real history, but about the pleasures of living in the roaring 20’s and all that jazz. He said : “I have always enjoyed that time period, mostly because of the work of Buster Keaton. All those great artists that were making films in the early days…And, you know, those suits can make anybody look good”.
