planetbuster: steamboat bill, jr. and friend - again … i don’t know why i made these … dummys really freak me out:( There is a story when he was a kid he met a ventriloquist and wanted to steal one of the dolls. He sneaked into the theatre and the ventriloquist followed him. When Buster tried to steal the doll, the ventriloquist made the doll talk. Buster got so scared, he ran back to the rooming house where he was staying. The ventriloquist and his parents laughed at the practical joke. This scene is homage to that incident.
